June Dorothy Wise
Today is the 2 year anniversary of the loss of June Dorothy Wise.
She was a very kind and generous donor to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Horse Rescue & Sanctuary.
Through her philanthropic planning and her foundation at the Community Foundation of Broward, she has donated $50,000.00 for the needs of the horses, miniature donkeys, sheep, goats and farm pigs that were rescued, rehabilitated and offered sanctuary for life at F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
June Wise, passed away July 1st, 2024. She was born in England to parents Percy Wise and Ida Wise. Her hotel career took her to Canada, Jamaica, Nassau, and Fort Lauderdale. Later in 1965, she opened English Accent Antiques in Dania, Florida. She was a dedicated animal lover. She generously assisted many charitable organizations world wide for the health and wellness of all animals. June had interests in nature, animals and the environment, theatre and film.
